Yoga range teacher training

200+H Teacher Training with Marija and Sarem

Start March 15, 2024

The Yogamelange Teacher Training is an eight-module teacher training course comprising 200+ hours and is aimed at yoga practitioners who want to delve deeper into the method and science of yoga and graduate with a recognized examination or deepen their knowledge without aiming to become a teacher. Furthermore, the training is designed to raise your practice to a higher level and initiate personal development. The training meets the quality requirements of the Yoga Alliance and covers all the basic aspects of yoga to give you the foundation you need to teach.

Marija and Sarem lead the training. They teach and practice with enthusiasm and dedication and can draw on 40 years of teaching experience between them.

What you can expect

Basics of teaching

The teacher training is primarily designed to give you the basic tools to teach Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. It will also deepen your own practice.

Training modules

The yoga teacher training comprises 8 modules, of which 7 modules will take place as extended weekends in the Yogamelange and module 5 will be held as an intensive week in the Waldviertel. Theoretical and practical lessons are balanced.

Manual

You will receive a comprehensive handbook that will accompany you throughout your training and in which you can read all the basic teaching content.

Lesson times

The teacher training includes 230 attendance hours (8 training modules), which are made up of lectures (asana, anatomy, philosophy, history, ethics, nutrition, etc.), practice hours (asana, pranayama, meditation and chanting) and teaching practice.

Apart from the intensive week, each training day starts at 9:15 and ends at 17:15.

Personal practice

Your own experience is the best prerequisite for being able to pass something on well. With this in mind, it is essential that you have solid practical experience on the one hand, and a desire and willingness to work on your personal development beyond your training on the other. This includes both physical and mental work.

Certification

The Yogamelange teacher training meets the Yoga Alliance quality standards and is internationally recognized as a Yoga Alliance certified training. After successfully completing the training, you will receive a Yoga Alliance certified diploma for the 200+ hours of yoga teacher training you have completed.

What participants say about the training:

My registration for the Teacher Training was the beginning of a journey into unknown worlds, a journey inside and to myself.
Marija and Sarem are the best and most caring guides I could imagine for such a wonderful and rewarding adventure. Great recommendation!
Silvia, Participant TT 2020

Practicing, chanting, talking and listening together in the Teacher Training has given my yoga practice many new ideas and a whole new twist. Thank you Marija and Sarem!

Before the teacher training, the question was: Am I good enough for this? There was no answer to that…rather a change of perspective. Because afterwards I am sure that the teacher training was very good for me!

Gabi, Participant TT 2020

The teacher training in the yoga range was a great enrichment for my yoga path. There was a lot of inspiring and instructive content in the multifaceted training. Marija and Sarem are great teachers who help with yogic tips beyond the training.

I would do the apprenticeship again in a heartbeat and think back to it with a happy heart, because it really was the best apprenticeship I have ever done.

Martina, Participant TT 2020

What participants say about the training:

hmmmm, so yoga teacher training costs a lot of money, that’s what my inner bastard wanted to tell me, and all you get for it is a nice printed sheet of paper – but all he wanted to see me do was hang out on the tv couch with chips…[“tamas” could be said in yogic, as the prospective yoga teacher will learn during her training ;o) ]

hmmmm, this yoga teacher training is organized by Marija and Sarem after all, another voice spoke up, with whom you have been standing on the mat for years with joy, if the two of them are already making the effort to set up this training, this is the logical next step on your yoga path – now give yourself a jolt and sign up…[here the experienced yogi would probably speak of “rajas” ]

well, the decision FOR the yoga teacher training was made quite quickly and what can i say, every one of my hopes was exceeded by far, even the many that i had no idea about at the beginning – Marija and Sarem have created a field of possibilities with a lot of passion, knowledge and empathy, in which there is certainly a lot to harvest for every participant – for me, for example
not only get to know new elements of yoga, such as pranayama, but also incorporate them into your own practice as a matter of course,
not only memorize asanas for your own practice, but deepen them, refine them and fill them with life,
you will not just be taken past the proud thought building of yoga on the sightseeing bus, but will be able to delve deeper into it in exciting and cordial discussions, always at eye level,
not only listen to the competent and charismatic presentation of the anatomy material via frontal instruction, but also incorporate it into your own anatomy in a playful way,
not only practise yoga intensively, but suddenly even enjoy it,
all this content is not just presented in an “in there – out there” manner, but in a comprehensive and clearly structured script for the further yoga path,
and above all: being together with loved ones again, looking forward to the next meeting every time, learning together, laughing and growing towards a goal, not a small thing in times of a pandemic!

to this inner bastard from above and to all of you who are not interested in the cheapest and most time-saving teacher training that can be found anywhere on the internet, i can assure you with a clear conscience that this teacher training will take you further and, even if only a little bit, will increase your “sattva”!!! [yet another yogaword, but don’t worry, you’ll learn it all for sure…]
